Cleaning and hygiene
Choosing housekeeping chemicals by surface and task
Choose a housekeeping product by what you are cleaning, the surface material and the result required. Utensil and laundry soap, handwash and floor cleaners serve different tasks; a product should not be substituted just because it has a similar appearance or fragrance.

Separate the task from the product name
Write down the cleaning task before requesting a bulk quotation: washing utensils, cleaning clothes, hand hygiene, maintaining floors, or cleaning a particular surface. Include the surface material and finish when it affects product selection. A purchasing team can then compare products against a clear requirement rather than choosing by colour or scent.
In ESCU's range, Founder Liquid Soap is for utensils, clothes and general cleaning; Handwash Shampoo is for cleaning hands, not hair. Confirm the product's instructions and suitability for the intended task before ordering. Neither name alone establishes a claim for a different use.
Cleaning and disinfection are different decisions
CDC guidance distinguishes regular cleaning from sanitizing and disinfecting. Select a product suitable for the surface and follow its label. Do not assume that a pleasant fragrance, a strong smell or the word cleaner demonstrates a particular disinfection claim.
When your facility needs a specific hygiene outcome, tell the supplier what the written requirement says and request supporting product information. Follow the product's required procedure rather than creating a stronger mixture or combining cleaners. Different surface materials can also need different care.

Make bulk supply easy to manage
For hotels and commercial buildings, group the request by task or department. This helps the person receiving the delivery distinguish handwash, floor care and general-cleaning products. Ask the housekeeping supervisor to approve the list before ordering so an economical bulk pack does not turn into the wrong product for the job.
Confirm the available packaging and price with ESCU for the requested quantity. If the team is matching an existing product, include its label and explain what you want to retain or change. Do not infer compatibility from a similar product name.
Keep product instructions with the working team
ESCU provides SDS and related documents after an enquiry. Pass those documents and the supplied instructions to the people who will use the products. Keep containers identified, follow label directions and never mix cleaning chemicals.
Send your list through the quote form or WhatsApp to discuss supply from Kathmandu and delivery across Nepal. The team will confirm the available product and order details; this guide does not promise a fixed price, pack size or suitability for every surface.
