Swimming-pool chemical ordering checklist for Nepal businesses
Order pool chemicals from an operator-approved list that records the product identity, required quantity, water-test context and delivery details. Confirm the specification and storage arrangement before accepting any substitute.

Bring the operator and buyer into the same request
A hotel purchasing officer may place the order while another person maintains the pool. Start by asking the operator for the approved product list and the quantity required. Include the current label or an earlier accepted specification when it helps identify the exact material.
Explain whether the purchase is a repeat order, a reopening order or a change to the treatment arrangement. These situations need different questions. Replacing a familiar item is not the same as selecting a product for a newly commissioned pool.
Information to send with the enquiry
Use one message for the complete list, with quantities alongside each product. If a quantity is not known, identify that clearly instead of guessing. A supplier can discuss the information needed for an enquiry, but an online price request does not replace the pool operator's treatment decisions.
- Business name, contact person and telephone number
- Pool location, volume and relevant recent test readings
- Each chemical's name, required form and specification
- Quantity and any packaging preference
- Delivery or pickup preference, site access and required date
- SDS and supporting documents needed for the order review
Prepare for receiving and storage
Agree who will check the delivery against the quotation. That person should be able to identify each product and keep it in its original labelled container. CDC's chemical safety guidance calls for separate storage of incompatible chemicals and trained handling. Have the responsible team review the labels and safety documents before the material is used.
Plan enough time for approval and transport. Do not promise an opening date on the assumption that every item in an online catalogue is immediately available. Ask ESCU to confirm the required products, available packaging and delivery arrangements for the destination.
Use the same record for repeat orders
Keep the approved enquiry, quotation and supplied product details together. On the next order, specify whether you want the same material and identify any changes to the pool or maintenance process. Ask for confirmation if a different product is offered; do not let a substitute be accepted without the operator's review.
ESCU accepts pool-chemical enquiries from Kathmandu and businesses across Nepal. Send your list through the quote form or WhatsApp. SDS and related documents are supplied after an enquiry. Prices and delivery are confirmed for the particular order rather than guaranteed by this checklist.
